Wow - love those flowers. The paper and the matting is so beautifully done! We often vacation in the mountains and when I scrap them, at some point I grow so tired of scrapping them...the woodsy mountains (which is odd, because I love the mountains). But your layouts always seem so fresh to me. Next time I'm doing mountains, I'm going to check out your gallery for inspiration!
that little stream or brook (river) is beautiful - so peaceful and tranquil! I love the zig-zag out of the same paper as the background paper - ties the layout together nicely. The brown flowers are perfect - I love how you sprinkle them into layouts like this! This looks like a beautiful place! Actually it looks like the trees have fall colors.
It was a beautiful spring day in 2000. My DH suggested we take a drive up to the headwaters of the Susitna River. It is always so pretty there with the huge boulders and aqua water (before the glacier starts to melt.) As we walked along the river, a family of chickadees followed us. I think they were curious about us. From the photos, you can just see the leaves coming out and the grass popping out of the winter debris. Thanks so much for your visit. I'm honored.
