What a perfect way to honor "Poppy" with this lovely layout. The poppies are beautiful, the colors are perfectly vintage and the photo is priceless! Well done dear friend!
I'm glad you were able to make use of the image from the card, Karen. You made a very heartwarming little creation here! And I love the way you added the "Poppy" title to the die-cut circle. Very pretty! ;)
I am looking at this thinking this is not Karen's usual colors. I love it! Old photo's are so amazing & it makes you wonder what was going through their mind when the photo was taken? I love how you did the poppy & all your layers & the yarn, good job sister!:)
Hello friends~ On 2/14/15 "Mrs. Bean" (Laura) posted a beautiful Poppy card, and thru some communications, she sent it to me! I had hoped to use it with a photo of Alan (my late husband) whom our grandkids call Poppy. I was waiting for the right time and inspiration. But this simple l/o came to me when looking thru some old photo's of Alan's grandpa; who was also called Poppy. So I (ouch, sorry Laura) pulled the card apart (I believe I had her permission! : )LOL and created something more in my wheelhouse~ I have an antique window in my LR and I'm putting some vintage photo's on it. THANK YOU Laura! And thanks to all of you who have stopped in to see me~ Karen
