For Eapipkin: The copper sheeting can be difficult to find. First, it needs to be .003 mils thick. That thickness combined with regular card stock is easy for my Big Shot to cut and it does not damage the dies. Using a good spray adhesive for gluing the copper to card stock stabilizes the embossing details and resists denting or damage to the design. I originally purchased the copper from Michael's in rolls that were 12" x 24" and cost anywhere from $15 to $19. Michaels stopped carrying it and I couldn't find it locally anywhere else. So, I went online and found "Nimrod Copper Company, Inc." (nimrodcopper.com). They carry copper sheeting in many sizes. I found the 6" x 10 ft. roll to be the best price for what I wanted to do. Once you try this, I'm sure you will fall in love. This technique also works well with regular aluminum foil glued to cardstock. Embosses beautifully. Thanks for asking.
One of my favorite mediums is copper sheeting glued onto cardstock and die cut. The medium is very versatile and the finish can be modified to meet the design requirements. Very easy to work with.
