Created for the March SGC Challenge at Swirlydoos - Donna came up with the theme "Baking Memories"...
This has always been one of my favorite among my Mother's recipes - a gingerbread-like cake over tart apple slices, served with a warm hard sauce. It still congers up feelings of Autumn's crisp days with the wonderful colors and smells of Western New York State.

Donna asked us to dig deep into our stash, but the Timeless papers from Blue Fern Studios in the February kit are just too perfect not to be used! Also new are the butterfly and pin from Angelica's Etsy shop, again too perfect not to be included here, and the heart from the add-ons. (I treated the resins with the Artisan Powder that came in the March Mediums add-on - this stuff is incredible!!!!)
And from the stash: the resin frame that I used to frame the photo of my beautiful Mother, one of the flowers and a tag and ticket from Prima Time Travelers Tag Me. Those are from my "put aside for later" pile. From my actual " hoarded because I just can't bear to not have it any more" stash is the doily from long ago - a gift from Rae...
This was such a great challenge! I loved scanning, printing and scrapping this recipe with all of its wonderful memories.
