Lots of birthdays in April! I have 4 out of 6 completed, including this one for one of my great-nephews! I've had this little chipboard chick for ages and decided to use it. I gave it a coat of Gesso then rubbed TH Mustard Seed over it directly from the stamp pad and inked the beak and feet with Dried Marigold. Then sprinkled clear embossing powder all over and heat embossed it. Isn't it cute?! Added a little black pearl for the eye.

I used a Darice Stars embossing folder on the red paper that is double-sided and has those arrows all over the other side. I inked over the stars with TH Barn Door so they'd show up better.

Papers used I've had in my stash for a very long time, as well as that little chick!

This is being sent to my great-nephew in CA via snail mail!
