Interesting mixture of accents on this page. The cute little sun and raindrops were perfect to celebrate your vacation in Seattle with your friend. I must keep this in mind when I need inspiration for a title page.
I was poking around the free classes on this website and I was inspired by lesson 3 - Places we go under Designing your story with Nancy Damiano. Well, this is my version. I did a couple things slightly different as I am all about adding the memorabilia to my travel & vacation LO's.
Instead of journaling I printed out on the computer the reservation confirmation info. The small red square paper that says next 50 is from an advertisement of the Space Needle turning 50. The photo in the top left corner, the roof was painted orange as that was the original color of it back in 1962 when it opened during the worlds fair. Next to the photo was my boarding pass to ride up and down the elevator. Just below the Seattle map button is the valet parking ticket. I save everything!
This is Day 7 for my vacation/staycation 2012 when my BFF/soul sissy Cindy came out to visit for 10 days. She was here for 6 days when I finally got her to West Seattle and she got her first glimpse of the Seattle skyline, and I day 7 I finally got her into Seattle for lunch at the Space Needle & the Underground tour! I've been looking forward to doing scrapping these photos!
I was going to leave the upper corner blank like in the class video, but I loved the sun & rainbow raindrops. To perfect for a Seattle LO, so I just had to use them.
