We were delighted to find a food court at the zoo to eat lunch. We were even more delighted to find a Kentucky Fried Chicken in the zoo food court.

We left the zoo around 6:00 and made it back to the port by 9:00. We knew that dinner would no longer be served on the ship so we walked around the mall where the ship was docked. What a nice surprise to find a Pizza Hut! And since we had shared Kentucky Fried Chicken earlier for lunch we were in double heaven!

We were really feeling the aches and pains of walking all day when we got back on the ship at 10:00PM. It was a long day but one of the best!

It is always nice when we are in a port for 2 days and this was one of the ports. We went to bed making plans about what to do it Singapore the next day but couldn't decide on anything we both really wanted to do.

Sunday, March 9th, 2014 – We saw Jan at breakfast and she told us she went to the aquarium on Sentosa Island yesterday and raved about how wonderful it was. We love aquariums so that sounded like the perfect way to spend our last day in Singapore. Especially since the monorail leaves from the mall here at the port and goes directly to Sentosa Island! It's a 5 minute walk from the ship, through the mall and up the escalator to get on the monorail and then a 5 minute ride to Sentosa Island where the Singapore aquarium would be waiting for us.

We now have a new favorite aquarium! This was incredible! We thought the Okinawa Aquarium was amazing but this one wowed us even more! We didn't think it was possible for any other aquarium to come even close to Okinawa but this one is as good or better! We noticed on the brochures that they claim to be the biggest in the world. I believe this is true and they are also the newest – less than 2 years old. One of the staff told us to come back in 2 more years and it would be even bigger, they plan to keep growing.

The only thing that disappointed us – not one humuhumunukunukuapua'a in the place!

(Note not in journaling: THat is the state fish of Hawaii and Bill's nickname for me is humu - after that fish.)
