Shots I took of the pink, white, and blue hyacinths in my friend's yard in April 2010.

This is my example for my May Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: May Flowers. I used 2 floral pp's, 10 velvet flowers, 8 epoxy flower stickers, and 2 stamped flowers. My photos are of flowers for the twist.

This is for the May Music Challenge - Lyrics. My title, 'hyacinth in bloom,' is a lyric in the song Field Song by Mark Lanegan (of Screaming Trees): Let's walk down to the water, There's hyacinth in bloom. For the stamping twist, I stamped 2 flowers, embossed them, and colored them in with water color pencils and a water brush. I also stamped the date on the tag in the upper left.

I used Blueberry Shake Memory Mist and Lavender Fields Glimmer Mist on white Petaloo flowers to get the shade of blue I wanted.

Other products:
Mist: Memory Mist
Stamps: Autumn Leaves
Embossing powder: Stampendous
Water color pencils: Kimberly
Pearls: Studio His & Hers
black cs; Aqua Flo brushes
