He finally delivered us to Sunset Beach all the way on the end of the road. He knew people there and was able to get us into the resort where we went through guarded gates to a pretty small private resort with a private beach.

Oh my gosh! It was amazing! And there were only 2 or 3 other people; we pretty much had this whole gorgeous beach to ourselves!

The resort had a large open thatched hut over the water. As we sat there we enjoyed looking over the edge at the thousands of tropical fish. There were wooden boxes all around with slices of bread in them for guests to throw to the fish which really caused a fish feeding frenzy. When we spotted snorkelers below us Bill threw a piece of bread near them so the tropical fish would be all around them.

The water was a perfect temperature and even though the waves were a bit fierce today (I am not a strong swimmer), I loved being at the beach and swimming in the ocean! The beaches here are every bit as beautiful as I had heard they were – just as gorgeous as they are in the travel brochures.
