My beloved aunt and uncle on a road trip vacation, way back in the summer of 1967. They stopped at La Posta, Mesilla, NM. Now a Mexican restaurant, "La Posta was a station on the Butterfield Trail. Its adobe walls have withstood the attack of elements and men and have sheltered such personalities as Billy the Kid, Kit Carson, and Pancho Villa."
