This is a wonderful tribute to your Grandfather! Rustic with over all sensational composition! Great texture. My grandmother spent most of her life documenting our family history and she taught me how much of a treasure that is. Again this is a wonderful work of art that reflects (as you say) "the gem he was". :)

Love this heritage layout. My Poppy died just before my 4th birthday also and to this day there are still certain things I remember about him, for which I'm thankful to have those precious memories. Such a great photograph!

I love scrapping my heritage. I was just four years old when my Grandfather passed away but understand he was a gem. I used Heartfelt Creations Paper Collection; DCWV Burlap Paper and some embellishments from Prima, Recollections and Creative Embellishments. Appreciate your peeking and words of encouragement.
