I've been taking a BPC class called Just Add Color & this project was made in response to a segment by Wilna Furstenberg. She was teaching the blending and color wash technique and challenged us to use a stencil & texture paste and acrylic paints. So in using my (been in my stash forever) cheap acrylic paints- I started to work. I cut the tree using my Cricut (Artbooking I think) and the sun rays and red/orange flowers are stencils from Tim Holtz. Wilna suppliced the graphic words and flowers- all I had to do was cut them out. I'm giving this page as a framed gift to my cousin who I recently was able to visit & reconnect with after many years.
