Wow. this is very c0ol.. I love your take on my page... I feel complimented you lifted me. this technique lent itself perfectly for this back to school layout. you rocked this.
Super cool design and again, I love your description! My son also had a "Mrs. Denise" so maybe folks with that name are just generally awesome preschool teachers? Your oversized title is spectacular!
This is beautiful. I love the letters in the background and love the angles of this layout. The "arrow" points right to that cute photo. I hope you write up your comments about her teacher and include them with this page, either hidden or on the back. Such a great tribute to the teacher. Wonderful work.
Ilike how you achieved a faux embossing with the letters. Today was dd's last day withonepreschool teacher. She has a week more with the rest. This teacher's art projects were lovely and the kids had a great time. I understand how you feel about the teachers. I think we have a hard time leaving the teachers than the children do.
So cute and creative!! I know exactly which layout you're referring to of Firemanswife7...I thought that marvelous too!! You've created the same kind of feel and it's adorable!!
What a special memory to have in your DD book. I love that she will "remember" parts of her early years by having a book to keep memories from fading away. She is lucky to have such caring teaching people in her life!!
Your page wonderfully done with all the bright colors and delightful designs.
She is absolutely adorable! That face!!! This is a beautiful layout - love the way you have things angled and what an awesome use of all the leftover letters. I never know what to do with all the leftovers! It sounds like your daughter has really good teachers who are encouragers - so important. WIth your involvement as a parent and people to inspire her like this, she will develop a love of learning! Good job!
DD is about to leave pre-school room 8 and go to room 10. These were her two teachers this year. Mrs. Denise is a mother through and through. She is more patient than any person I have ever met and was strict on her belief that children should be allowed to be children. In this day and age, the world moves so fast. I really appreciate her letting the kids just be kids. Honestly, she was a great reminder for me sometimes when I felt the pressure to hit milestones or expect too much out of my 3 year old. And Ms. Tamara, is just so thoughtful. She loves education and the wonderment of children. Always happy to bring in a new story, play her guitar for the kids, or answer questions (for dd & me). I appreciate her constant (non-sugar coated feed back about DD). She even wrote a Very thoughtful letter to her on the Dr Sues card. I made the LO into a pocket so I we can access the card (but not completely cover up the LO...I mean com on. haha) This picture is a hot mess....its was taken with a phone as they were getting all the girls dressed for dance class....her hair is a mess and yes, those are tap shoes on her hands! haha Oh well!
I got the idea from a bunch of LOs put together. I found Firemanswife7's "BRILLIANT ADORABLE & FUNNY BOY" to be especially inspiring! What a great use for all those leftover alphas!! She is so clever, check it out:
