Portmeirion is an amazing place in North Wales, and has been my favourite place in the world since I was a child. My husband and I got married there, and this New Year, we took our son there for his first visit. The turquoise colour used on the layout is a colour that the architect who designed and built the village (Clough Williams Ellis) uses on many buildings, gates and grottoes.
