Great lay out and photos. 900 steps? Is there another way out? I dont think the average person could handle the trip back up. Youre a very wise Mom with very good timing :o)Ro
What a cool experience for you and the kids, and great parenting skills exercised there (pun intended)! Love the earth tones and the variety of paper you used on your layout.
Beautiful Kathy - the background really brings out the beauty of the rock formations. Great match! I can't even imagine 900 steps! Bill did 699 in St. Helena and I thought that was a lot! What a cool thing to do - if you have good knees!
Good idea not to let them go any further. Very nice, I like the brick background paper. I really like the 2 page sketch challenge. Every one's layouts like different.
A double of 4 of my children when we went to Katoomba. They have always wanted to walk down to the bottom of the valley under the Three Sisters. There are 900 steps at an almost 90 degree angle. I let them walk to the first sister and that was about 60 steps. The trip back up convinced them that we needed to be better prepared for a full trek down. You wouldn't believe that less than 30 minutes later, the temperature had dropped to 11 degrees celcius and was poring rain.
