When I saw the new Echo Park Paper collection "Happy Summer" I fall in love with it immediatly and I decided I have to use it to realise something to show in my home. The idea of this project comes from here.
For the base I cut out a rectangle from a cardboard box and I painted with acrylic paitn. Also the "hello" written is hand painted.
Then I maked some paper pinwheels and I cut by hand "Summer" letters and a little sailboat.
I glued everything on my sign and I added some sequins here and there just to add a light touch.
At last, I made a little paper sun and I glued it on an altered wood clothpin. To make the sun rays, I cut some paper stripes and I stapled them around a circle.
