For our Summer vacation we chose Savannah, GA. We love New Orleans and decided to continue in that area. Savannah is very rich in history. We loved the atmosphere and all the wonderful historic and ghost stories.

If you are familiar with the 1994 book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by John Berendt it references the Bonaventure Cemetery several times. I just loved the book and after reading it wanted to experience the Cemetery. The statue on the front of the book from the cemetery has been moved to a museum due to the inconsiderate behavior of tourists when the booked released. Such a shame. This is just the first of several layouts I'm going to dedicate to the Cemetery. This Cemetery is so beautiful and full of gorgeous Live Oak trees with Spanish moss and marble monuments/grave markers.
