Sunday, April 20th, 2014 – HAPPY EASTER! I honestly did plan to go to the 4:30AM sunrise Easter service on the deck and even woke up early enough but then snuggled back down under the comfortable covers and went back to sleep. I should have gone – I would have enjoyed the service and the choir too.
We went to the Lido and had a Belgian waffle, mango and cantaloupe for breakfast. Bill also had a fried egg and I had an omelet.
When we came back to our cabin we found that the Easter Bunny had been there. We each got a small box of Seattle's Finest Chocolate truffles – the really good stuff! We also each got a nice Easter card from the Captain and staff and I was very pleased to find a spiritual message inside – a very appropriate message for Easter.
The Easter buffet was something out of the pages of a magazine. They opened at 11:00 to noon for photos only. It was packed but a line had been organized so you could walk by all the food and take pictures without missing any of the beautiful presentations. I have never seen a buffet so elaborate! And so much crab – even lobster!
