Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 – A port day at last! We were in Bridgetown, Barbados in 2009 and enjoyed going through Harrison Caves and spent several hours snorkeling. We also took the island tour when we were here in 2009 so that didn't leave much to do or see today.

Today we took a cab ride to the center of town where we found a small grocery store and bought a case of Coke and some Busta Grape Soda for me. (The Busta was okay but not something we would buy again – but it was a good sale so we tried it.)

We thought about going snorkeling again but we both got so much sun last week that we decided it would be best if we stayed out of the direct sun for a few more days. That meant staying away from the beach – where we really wanted to be.

There were several small craft shops with beads, t-shirts, caftans and wood carvings which were nice but nothing enticed us enough to get out our wallets so we just walked around town. Since we didn't find anything particularly interesting we went back to the ship early.

Next time we will hit the beaches like we did last time, but today, neither one of us needed any more sun!
