I think it's wonderful how you documented for your son this fateful day. Past generations talk about where they were during Pearl Harbor, the end of WWII, the assassination of President Kennedy and other events, but no one will remember their stories. But your son will.

9-11-01 began for our family with a bright fresh start, as my oldest son, Ryan, embarked on his first day of school. We didn't yet know about the fateful events that were simultaneously taking place that morning. As each of us Americans knows exactly what we were doing that day, this LO is for Ryan to remember. We are eternally grateful for the "helpers" who worked tirelessly that day, and the many long days that were to come.
