We drove our new car to William's birth home in Stratford-upon-Avon and visited Anne Hathaway's Cottage as well. Having been a longtime Shakespeare fan I told my hubby we had to go there. It's one of my favorite memories of our first trip to Europe which I said had to include Great Britain. That trip was 13 years ago and I have never scrapped it, with the exception of one showing us in Oberwesal, Germany holding the giant key to our room of the castle we stayed at. So thank you Henri Jean I believe you have inspired me to scrap more of that vacay!
I love your pages....First of all they are of places I would love to visit and you make it all about the picture. I love all your journaling, because I am a terrible person when it comes to writing. You keep these beautiful pages coming and I'll keep traveling with you in your pictures.
This is the home where William Shakespeare was born, where he grew up, where he brought his new bride, Anne Hathaway, to live with his family after they were married and where Ann gave birth to their children.
It is a few blocks from this home to the church where Shakespeare's family attended, where William was baptized and where he is now buried.
