Got the dowels and round wooden things the dowels go in from Hobby Lobby (sorry, not sure what they're called but they are right next to the long sticks and they are also unfinished wood) and used wood glue (if you get these, just make sure the sticks fit tightly into the round hole thingy. Then I could load up each color of ribbon! I have loved this more than any other method I've tried because, ahem, I do love ribbon! I also found it takes up MUCH less space because you can go vertical, and you can just cut off what you need. I use straight pins to tuck in the ends. If you aren't warped like me and don't have as much ribbon, you could just use one. I also have yarn and fibers, but I've just tossed those in a large basket. Both shelves on the right I got at Hobby Lobby.
