Once back on the ship we participated in the 6:00PM trivia and came in first place. Even though most teams were 6 players we only had one other couple on our team and the four of us did awesome, getting 13 questions out of 15 correct. We missed the question, “What color was Coca Cola originally?” Bill said green and someone else on our team thought it was clear so we went with that. Bill was correct – it was green. We also missed the question to name all 5 of the Jackson Five – we could only name 3 of them.
They asked which mammal lives the longest and I correctly guessed that the answer was humans – score 1 for our team. I also knew the name of the first couple on TV to be shown in a double bed together – it was Fred and Wilma Flintstone. The name of Dennis the Menace's dog was easy – “Ruff!” And the other couple even knew that “Blondie” was the name of Hitler's dog! We beat the 2nd place team by at least 6 points!
NOTE NOT IN JOURNALING: The pot is filled with the best seafood chowder or soup or stew I've ever tasted in my life! I had a nice sample. If we hadn't just eaten lunch, I would have had a big bowl of it! This was at an outdoor market and is under an open tent.
