I look forward to my mini scrapbook vacation/escapes. It's difficult to scrap at home with so many interruptions. I truly enjoy my time away from home, my children {one with learning disabilities} my animals, house cleaning and my many plants. I talk about and look forward to these weekends as if they where a two week dream cruise. LOL. . . . About 50 scrappers pay for an all inclusive 4 days of pampering & scrapping. On the second day, we all get our picture taken of what ever it is we are creating. On this mini vacation, I was making a layout of my brother "Wayde's" vacation to Thailand. He visited a zoo while there. I will look for this completed layout and post it!

I made my own flowers & stick pins & most of the embellies. Paper is Basic Grey Gingham Check. I wet and crinkled the edges. I mixed a lot of different dies to create the flowers. {I use the small ones for the middle of the bigger ones} These are some of the first homemade flowers I've ever made. I had fun creating them. A little tip. . . {ink the edges BEFORE you glue or roll them!}

Just a note to all of you who wonder how I display my bulky layouts. {All of them are put into a 12 X 12 frame and hung on the wall} I don't use my jewelry, beads and chunky metals on layouts that go into my scrapbooks!

Thank you, to all you awesome, talented & creative scrappers who take the time to appreciate my creations made from my heart! ! ! I don't know why but, I usually add the who, what, when, why and how after I post it on here! lol..........
