It is too bad about the boat tour. I always feel bad for those small companies when things like that happen. Love this photo with the cave entrance framing part of the ship.

I feel sorry for the town and the boat tour company. It sounds like the place isn't a standard port of call. Sometimes the little ports try really hard. When we went to Mayaguez in Puerto Rico, we were the second time a cruise ship had docked. There wasn't lot to do but the people were so nice and tried so hard to make our visit memorable. At least you understood that technical issues happen and made the best of it. A sign of good travelers.
