This is for the color and ali edward's book challenge. Thanks Dana and Anne for great challenges. For the color challenge- we were to use green, maroon/red and brown colors. I love the combo, to be honest though, I might not have mixed them together if not for this challenge, but now im liking the mix of it. I might do another one just bec. the colors mesh so good together. Ali Edward's book challenge- I did the challenge #16 where you cut a part of the pattern paper for an embellishment. I got the brown flowers from a pattern paper. Love the look of it. I conceptualized this page a while back but never got around to it. It was actually for a challenge but I was late in doing it. The journaling relates the reality of my life right now. Tfl Journaling: Gone are the days that I can wake up anytime I want, sleep anytime I want and take naps, in between, at anytime I want. SLEEPING- I do miss it a lot. There are a few reasons why I don't get enough rest: 1. I have to wake up at 7 am to pick up Amanda for early seminary. 2. When my kids wake up, however early that maybe, im forced to get up as well. 3. Maddie, who is almost a year old, still don't sleep through the night, so im up on an average of twice every night and 4. I trade afternoon naps so I can scrapbook. Sometimes I fel like crying coz I want to sleep and can't but I've come to accept this reality of my life. Im a mother now and with that comes some sacrifices. So even though im kicking and screaming when I get up in the morning, I accept my responsibility and I face the day! 09/06
