how did I miss this....good thing I came to your gallery this morning to check!!! Very pretty, I have been wanting to try cutting the paper like that, you have done an excellant job here!! And that picture is really cool with the journaling!! What a cute story, and oh so true!! Girls have very differant taste in almost everything nowdays!!
I love how you overlapped the swirls. I love the combination of colors and pps. The journaling is very special too and it is probably something that your daughter will look at later in life and ponder what she was thinking.
Teehee!! this is such a cute page Vaneesa!! I love the candid converstation and the way you put it straight on the photo (really cute photo of Morgan too!!)...and the swirls look awesome, sometimes using just paper is enough!!...going to my favs!
I think this layout has the least amount of products than any other layout I've ever done. Consists of 3 pattern papers, and that's it. I drew some different shaped swirls & cut them out. Journaling on photograph reads: Conversation between Morgan & I (Morgan) Mom, why do I have such a big butt? (Me) I thought you loved your butt. You told me before that having a big butt was a good thing, because guys like "big booties". (Morgan) It is a good thing. But I think that's the only reason the guys like me. (Me) Morgan, I'm sure guys might like your "big bootie", but you are also a very pretty young lady with an awsome personality. So I'm also sure that they like you for who you are, not your butt.
-I just want to add something here. It sure is funny how things have changed over the last 25 years. I can remember being her age & hating my butt because it was too "big". She says she loves her butt because it's big. Funny how things change!
