Just thought I'd clarify... the quote is where I used the vellum and embossing powder. Here's what I did:
Type the quote in a text box in Word
Format the quote so it's centered horizontally as well as vertically
Select the text, choose a "white" font
Select the text box and choose a color for fill
Print on inkjet printer
Dust on detail embossing powder
Heat emboss
Trim to fit
Attach w/ vellum tape
So the end effect (if you can't see it on the screen) is the letters are printed in a negative effect.
I love the color of the cardstock against the brick in the pictures. I also like the tiny mats for the pictures. I always make mine too big, but yours seem to make the picture stand out without making the mats themselves stand out. The quote is very fitting.
This is my first 2-pg LO! The "Elastoplast" is a photocopy of the band-aids I had to buy after tramping around the tower. There's hidden journaling on the right page, behind both photos. The top photo has a slide-out, the lower is hinged. The quote says "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life. - Unkown"
