i love these colors they look incredible together. love the circle around the fish and your date stamp too. i'm hoping to get alot of fishing pics this summer, between my son and my husband it should be easy. Girl, did you notice this is my second comment on this layout? i need to get myself together i'm so behind in the gallery. it deserves a second comment anyway!
LOVE that date stamp!!!!! Cool!!! What a great memory and I love how you did this lo...a perfect 'guy' lo and I love how you alternated the colors for the journaling bringing out the blue from the shirts! Super!
fabulous. love the measuring thingee on the fish pic. so perfect. And, tell the truth, girl---did you coordinate their outfits for scrapping purposes?? Huh???? :)
Yea, I'm so after that multi colored journaling... watch out, here it comes! Love the colors and the title work! Another great one - keep 'em coming. Gives me something to cheat off of! :)
what a great photo, and a cool moment to document! these colors are so gorgeous! the multicolored journaling looks great and i love the circle around the fish!
first comment on gage's hair: LOL! love it when it looks crazy. haha! and so the layout... sigh** this i really love. just look at those two bonding together! i love bonding moments =) colors are great! i like how you put your journal in differebt colors. and the date stamp "captured and released" genius!
love this! the journaling looks so great with the two colors. the two of them look just perfect together and i love bald head look. what a great experience for the two of them and that fish is too cute.
gotta LOVE this one! the fact that they are both wearing blue just makes this even more awesome. And girl, you give me WAY too much credit. Your brilliance is ALL YOU! I can pick your LO's out of the gallery with just a glance. Okay...love that you added that BLOT brush in there, and the colors!!! What a fabulous combination! The journaling, awesome as usual, and what a great spin on using the word GROW. Into my faves!
This one makes me smile!! First, still lovin Gage's crazy hair, second that tiny fish is adorable!! We live in the land of 10,000 lakes here in Minnesota and my husband caught an 8 lb walleye a week ago. Like Nic said, we sure do live in different parts of the country. Back to the lo - I love your use of circles - back when you were doing paper pages your circles was what caught my attention to your work!!! Keep that coming!! And that title is great - before opening this one up I couldn't figure out what that meant!! Great job as always, A!!!!!!!
I must agree the color change in the journaling works great! what a sweet photo!! and I am loving the circles you are using to focus in on important elemts really ties everything nicely... but built a lake!! LOL we are in different parts aren't we?! LOL back to your fab layout though ;) perfect perfect and add just a bit more perfect lol.. love how you are using lines lately :)
amanda its great - what a cute little first fish, too!love the line & circle - and the two toned text - i so loved that & cant wait to use it too! but its perfect here in the blue with gage's shirt..... katie's stamp is perfect here - esp with the measure under the fish - just perfect details evryhwere!!!
do you know that you're just briljant creating these lo's? my gosh girl, again.. amazing! and you used the pronounced stamps again! aren't they great? your title and journaling is so good! (I had to read it so I zoomed in a lot :D and the pic is so sweet. love it all
the journaling says it all. hehehe. =) this is definitely the SMALLEST fish they have ever caught together, but it was the 1st at Nana's...so it deserved a page of it's own. just had to use one more pronounced stamp before moving on for a while. =) More inspiration taken from Leiks with the multicolored journaling. (I promise, Leiko... i'm not stalking you!!) hehe.. It just breaks it up soooo nicely!!
JOURNALING: Finally... they stocked the lake behind Nana's house! After almost 3 years of waiting for the lake to be completely built and poured, then came the trail around it, then the little bridge, the the fountain... they FINALLY stocked it. So you & Daddy headed out with your fishing pole today and this is what you caught. Isn't he cute? He's certainly not the normal large-mouth bass you are used to catching, but for all practical purposes, he will suffice for today. Although this little guy has a long way to go, he was a good enough sport to serve as the prop to go on the record books as the 1st fish caught at Nana's house. Soon, he will grow up and produce more fish to create more treasured memories for you and Dad. (date stamp reads: gage and dad | captured and released 05.25.07)
