The design here is simply amazing. There's a lot going on but it looks so crisp and clean. The shimmery flowers and the rhinestones add just the perfect amount of sparkle... I'm in love with the tattoo-esque scrolls and sparrows! Mmm, all that and a reference from a great song, by a grrrreat artist! This is quite possibly the best LO I've ever seen.
OmGosh, Beth this is totally amazing. It jumps out at me from your gallery (which I obviously haven't visited in WAY too long!) Beautiful, beautiful work. Love it!
I just found your work but I am floored! All of your pages are stunningly beautiful but I have to say, this is my favorite LO EVER! This one should be published for sure! Beautiful!
OMG...this is truly spectacular!!! Love the lyrics, the serene colors, and the photos are so tender & loving!! All your painstaking work created a masterpiece!!! A definate fav!!!
WOW... what a mouthful- :P THIS is truly one of the BEST examples of what scrapbooking is, that I have seen in a LONG time. :) The techniques, are AMAZING- and your concepts are even better!!! I am in AWE right now!!! STRAIGHT to my favorites!!!!!!!
My god!!! This is simply stunning and I can't add this to my favorites fast enough. The colors are wonderful and I love that song and you used it perfectly. Can't believe you wove that ric rack and all of the painting and rubons. GORGEOUS!!!! How long did this take?????
This lo is simply stunning! Well, maybe not simply with all you did on it! Just love everything! Those lyrics are perfect for the pictures. Into the favs
Oh good grief that is A TON of work! But look at how beautiful it turned out! I'm LOVING this one. into my favs for sure!!! Great techniques you've used on this!!!!!
I loved these photos of my dd and dh together and have always wanted to use the lyrics from the John Mayer song "Daughters" in a LO. Lyrics read " I know a girl she puts the color inside of my world" "So fathers, be good to your daughters, daughters will love like you do."
This page was technique heavy. I wove thin black ric rack in the holes of the Creative Imaginations Scalloped paper. The pp for the large circle was Doodlebug embossed CS that I rubbed Colorbox chalk over to give it a blue color and make the flowers and scrolls show up better. I used Hambly Studios scroll rub-ons and put them on a blue transparency stencil sheet (thanks, Kristin, for sending that to me :) ) and added Doodlebug Simply Sweet rub-on letters for the lyrics, which was a painsakingly slow process, lol. I attached the scrolls with pop dots for dimension. I painted my chipboard and outlined with a White Sharpie. I also painted the Marah Johnson bird brads black to match my LO. I mounted the Queen & Co chipboard alphadots on Doodlebug Sugar coated CS to give them more emphasis. I machine stitched as well.
