Description: For the Postal Free Circle Journal hosted by imagine lilacs. This round, JaniceMO's theme was hollywood. I decided to do a layout based on my favorite moview. Journaling reads ________ I’ve always loved watching movies, and hearing the title of certain ones, can bring back a lot of memories for me. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Parent Trap (the originals) always make me think of my Grandma & Grandpa Farrell’s house. Biloxi Blues reminds me of the time when I was a teenager and I refused to let my younger sister and my cousin see the same movie as my friends and I, so they were forced to see that and hated it (they still tease me about that to this day). When I think of the movie Swamp Thing, I can picture my younger brother watching from behind the couch because he was too scared to get too close to the tv. I remember watching Poltergeist and the Friday the 13th movies and being scared, but still loving it. Some of my other favorites growing up were 9-5, Mannequin, Ghostbusters, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Sixteen Candles, and Goonies. For the most part, I enjoy every movie I see – however, I’m not one for running out and buying a whole lot of dvds for my home movie collection. While I enjoy watching movies the first time, there are very few that I would ever really want to watch a 2nd time. Three of my all time favorite movies, ones that I would actually watch over and over and do own are: A League of Their Own, Titanic and Remember the Titans. I don’t know what it is about these three movies that I love, they’re all so different from each other, but I think it’s that they’re based on actual events and I do find myself drawn more to these types of movies.

I used a doodle genie to make the dotted swirl at the bottom. I also stamped the stars and printed the journaling on a transperency. I sanded the edges of the pp to get the white border all the way around.

Fabulous journaling. I love Titanic and Remember the Titans too. I'm like you, I don't care to watch a movie tons of times either, but I have to admit I can watch Princess Diaries over and over. It's just FUN!
