The middle column is the song lyrics and the right journaling box says this:
When we first started planning our wedding, I knew that the most daunting challenge for me would be to pick the “right” music. Being that I grew up with it surrounding me, spent years studying it and have a deep love for it, I spent hours agonizing over what songs to choose for each part of our special day. Well, I found that some songs were easier than others to decide. The easiest choice for me to make was the recessional…you know where you walk down the aisle after you are finally pronounced husband and wife. During the time that we got engaged and we were planning our wedding, we watched a movie called “50 First Dates.” We both loved the movie, but what caught my attention was the last song of the movie, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow / Wonderful World,” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. I fell in love with it instantly and decided that it had to be a part of our ceremony somehow. I eventually settled upon using it for our recessional, knowing that it would remind Brian of that movie which he, in particular, loved, and that it held memories for both of us. Fast forward to the present as I write this…I asked Brian yesterday what his favorite song is and he told me that it was the song from 50 First Dates because it reminds him of our wedding day. It’s just one of those moments that make me love him even more…what a wonderful world it is indeed.
gorgeous LO....beautiful job! Love how you folded it to hide the journaling. Love that song, too. My brothers and I each had it played at our weddings :)
