“Cherish” my layout for unique technique for CK HOF 2007 (i didnt place anywhere)

Journaling:
“On a beautiful Newcastle day in June 2005, Richard and Louise were married with Fay as their flowergirl. We love Richard and Louise like family and hope that they love each other more each day. We will always remember that they love Fay so much that they made her into an Angel for the day.”

Technique:
My inspiration was pop up cards and books. I wanted to make a layout really 3D on a big scale, not just using foam dots. I used Strong Acetate folded at 90 degree angles fixed to the layout edges and the layout back. All the angles must be 90 degrees or it will not fold flat properly. I went with a photo from a recent wedding that allowed for depth of field, I used this in a decoupage style with foam pads to build up the photo image and then using printed transparencies and cut out images from patterned paper to finish building up the layout so it creates a deep 3D image that fold down flat for posting or inserting into an album.
