Thank You cards for the eldest daughter's teachers. Used a technique I found on a pinned blog using card background embossing plates. Didn't turn out quite as well for me as I had hoped, but I still think it looks pretty nice. Folded 5x7 cardstock, embossed swirls piece is 4x5 1/2, backed with white cardstock, with a tissue paper overlay. Original project used Tim Holtz's new terminology tissue paper, but I decided to try it on my own with a word stamp and some tissue paper I had around the house. Covered white cardstock with the stamped tissue paper, but here I inked the embossing plate with purple ink before running it through my Epic Six then inked over the result with thistle ink and frayed both the edged of that piece and the white cardstock backer. Tag was masked and spritzed with glimmer mist, added ribbon and prima / glimmer misted flowers. Stamped 'Thank You' in black ink on the tag.
