Description: Just a quickie Lo of a dusty little port we stopped at in Egypt. While here we took on supplies and visited the German frigate we had met up with in the Gulf of Aden the previous week. (They were "parked "next door.) We were all supposed to head out to The Valley of the Kings from here but due to the very rough seas that we had encountered in the Red Sea, we arrived here 8 hours late and missed the convoy into the dessert so could not go. A huge dissapointment. We stocked up here on fresh fruits and vegetables ...and beer!
