Description: To go through the Suez Canal all northbound ships must first anchor off of Suez City and await their assignment order for the following days convoy. I thought it would be fun to take a photo of each of our canal mates, as they all had to pass us to get into the canal. The first one was at 5:45 AM (hence no picture!) with about 15 minutes between each one. We were number 21 out of a total of 43.
I won't bore anyone with the rest of the LOs of all the ships but it will be a nice memory for us in an album one day.

Amazing how different they all look from one another! I would love to be on that cruise ship!

In convoy! It is mind boggling to consider all the things it takes for our civilization to function! Love the cruise ship photo with the sun in background.

That must have been some wait. LOvely ships!
