What clever journaling! I always say I'm a heinz 57, but I really love your analogy! Great job. I'm beginning to dabble in the hybrid world, and am loving it, thanks for all of the direction.
this is some eye catching eye candy! WOW! It was up front and center as soon as I entered SB.com. I haven't even hardly "dabbled" in digi, but this is inspriring me to do a beautiful LO w/o photos. this one is perfect as it is. LOVE IT!
WOW!! This is so amazing! Your work is phenominal! And I had to laugh a little...I found out at the age of 25 that my great-aunt who i thought was my grandma's sister, was really my aunt (my grandma's daughter). Families are so funny. It was such a different time back then for women. Anyhoo...LOVE THIS!!!
This is soooo cool! That checker board tree in the background is too much fun! Love the names on the leaves and the title! This has a very magical, Alice in Wonderland feel to it! Awesome!
Well this is just amazing! I like how the green pp looks like the trees are leaving shadows. I love the colors, your clouds, the shadows & chalking. Simply amazing! Oh... and it was just a featured LO.
Another perspective LO, can you tell I have a lot of fun doing these ;) This was an idea that I had in my head yesterday and totally intended to put photos on it but after it all came together I decided against it. So I decided just to tell a wacky story about my family instead. There's much more to the story but this is the Clift notes version of it. LOL
Journaling says: Our family is interesting to say the least. There are family members that we don't even know exist. Our ancestors had LOTS of siblings and kids so you can only imagine the amount of cousins we have out there in the world. Then there's my grandmother (Nana) who really wasn't my grandmother but was actually my great aunt. I wasn't informed of this until I was almost 25 years old. So what should have been my last name? I grew up with the last name of Warrick but in fact my last name should have been Gates. This makes for quite a crazy family tree...in fact I usually tell people I have a family bush but now I like to think of it as a forest. A forest with lots of twists and turns, unusual paths, obstacles, various species of all things scary & pretty yet beautiful and memorable all the same. So no matter how wacky and strange my family history is, I still love them..well most of them anyway...
And if you are still with me and want to know where to find all this cool digi stuff... Primahybrid.com-Weeds & Wildflowers, Lazy Days, A Better Me, Wildflower Holiday; Jackie Eckles - Altered Book & Fairy Tales at littledreamerdesigns.com; Amy Hutchinson & Emily Merritt - Truly Modly Deeply at wearestorytellers.com; Font - love ya like a sister; Traci Murphy drop shadow actions; Jen Caputo - Concave Bend
