Description: This is my nephew, Eric, that passed away 7 years ago at the tender age of 12. This is one that I've wanted to do for so long now, and when I first heard Kenny Chesney's "Who You'd be Today" I knew I would use that song. I've just been scared that I woudn't do it justice! The journaling is a verse from the song "It ain't fair you died to young, like a story that had just begun, and death tore the pages all away".
This is dedicated to my sister, one of the best mothers and strongest woman I know!! Happy Mother's Day!! XOXOXO

The felt flower is really not that dark, it looks almost black on here, but it's chocolate and matches the rest of the lo really well!

This is a great lo. I think a lot of what you used is so symbolic...the circles (like life) the flower (almost reaches up to him)...beautiful colors and complex layers...the song is perfect....you did a great job on your nephews lo...and your family is in my prayers.
