Description: Remember Cropy Cats? My sister, daughter and I all bought the whole set years ago, but I had never used a single layout idea from them, and now they are totally not my style. So we challenged each other this month to do a layout inspired by one of the Cropy Cats cards, and I chose a "May Pole" layout from their 2002 collection. I used their idea of making a May Pole out of cardstock and ribbon, and also copied their technique of weaving paper strips for the bottom border. The May Pole really does look better in real life than on this scan! LOL
