Journaling: It seems that i've always followed my mother. When I was young, I'd follow her in work, in prayer, in chores. As I grew older, I followed her in motherhood, falling into those familiar patterns I had sworn I never would. I heard my mohter's words coming out of my mouth. I learned what she had known for so long- that teaching your children never ends, it just changes. Now, I still follow her. The pace is a little slower, the steps not as sure, but she's still way ahead of me- in patience, in forgiveness, in love. I'm trying to learn the lessons as fast as I can, but I'm way behind.
I took this pic because grocery shopping with mom is a chore i have to do once a month, taking time out of my ?busy? life to do it. but i know that one day, i won't view it as a chore, that i will miss this time spent one on one with my mom and the lessons that she continues to teach me.

I love this! I lost my mother in February and you are so right; we should cherish all of the moments we have with our loved ones. After they are gone is not the time for shouda, coulda and woulda.
Lovely journaling and LO. This brought tears to my eyes in rememberance of the little things I used to complain about doing with my mom that I now miss tremendously. TFS!!
Blessings,
Deb
