Description: Just a quick and simple layout from a weekend visit to the beach with my DD and her family (8/9/08). (the scan is a little wonky...the layout is straight IRL! LOL!!!) This is my DGS, Adam. He finally got brave enough to get in the water on this trip. The paper and beach embellies are Creative Imaginations. The wave swirl I drew and cut out. Title letters are the new QK font - Chocolate. The Gulf was beautiful that day, very calm and clear. Journaling is printed on vellum and reads:

The surf was calm that day, but it was still a lot of water for such a little guy. You cautiously walked up to the edge of the water and let it lap on your toes. Gradually, you ventured a step or two into the water. When the water hit your knees, you rushed back to the shore. I enjoyed watching you adjust to the soft waves washing up on the beach. It wasn't too long before you were brave enough to venture just a little further, and with a little coaxing, you were soon waist deep. You got wiped out once or twice, but I'm proud to say, you got up and headed back for more!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is a great lo. We go to longboat key every year and I hope to catch some shot of the kids in the water as you did. Great idea
