Description: Journaling reads: "Poor Benjamin! At not quite two years old, he was too little to play ball with the big boys at Joshua's birthday party. So, he sat on the front steps, holding his little lamb... just watching. He looked so sweet sitting there... and at the same time, kind of sad. Being several years younger, he missed out on some of the good times with his older brothers in those early years." November 1992

The lettering and the zigzag border are handcut and doodled. The arrow and border on the frame are both stamps from Inque Boutique. I altered the photos to b/w then did a color focal point on Benjamin. Then I sanded and inked the edges of the photos. Thanks for looking!!!

And yes, that is a BIG tear in the front door screen -- with four kids (plus the neighbors), all under 8 years old, running in and out all day, every day, it was impossible to keep a nice screen in the door. They always pushed on the screen instead of the wood! Oh well!!!!

I love all the doodling...poor baby, couldn't play with the big boys...awwwwwwwww

Awww, poor thing. It's hard being "too little". And it's kind of mean: I keep saying that phrase to my almost 3-year-old, but on the other hand, he has to behave and has to be a "big boy". Life isn't always fair ...
