Description: I have been holding onto this one for awhile.....here it is.
Journaling:
Mother of one? Mother of two? I remember lying in the hospital, asking Jeff which one I was. He didn’t have an answer for me. I wondered what I would tell people when they asked. Well, it has been three weeks since we lost Sam. And I have found that I tell strangers I am a mother of one. But that really isn’t true. However, it is hard to tell people “two” but then have to explain why only one is with me. They mostly just look at me in stunned silence and don’t know what to say or do. So I just say “one.” But I am still Sam’s mom, even if he isn’t here on Earth with us. So just for the record, I AM A MOTHER OF TWO.
