Description: My DS, Matthew, at 2 weeks old. I scanned in my "old" photos (1979) and tried to brighten them up a bit. All pprs are Daisy D's Lullaby Collection, cardstock is bazzill. The tags are all DD rubons and "Matthew" is DD sticker letters. The journaling strips read:

After 36 long hours, you finally arrived. I was so excited when they told me you were a boy! Back in the 70s, doctors didn’t use sonograms like they do today, so we were not prepared for a baby weighing over 10 pounds. We thought you were about eight pounds. Because of your size, your collarbone was broken during delivery and you had to wear this brace around your shoulders for about six weeks. These photos were made when you were just 2 weeks old and weighed about 12 pounds. It doesn’t show up in the photo, but your hair was a beautiful red!
