Description: This is my Grandson's first day of college. As you can see, he tolerated me taking the picure and not very well!! It was 7:30 in the morning and he is not a morning person. Since I have every year (except 3rd grade) at that door I couldn't let this day go by without a picture. We also got a new front dooor that day, so this will be the last picture with that door. I'm not even sure if he will live here next year to take any more but at least I got the 1st. day!! His hair is not orange likes it looks in the picture but he only gave me a half of a second to take the picture so there was no time for anything but just to click!! I took the picture of the layout outside and it looks kinda smokey which it isn't, don't know why that happened. I am trying to break out and use some different embellishments. I used eyelets on this, that is a first for me.
The tag says, "learning is a treasure that will follow it's owner forever".

Good for you....getting all of those first day pictures! I have done the same with my kids, except this year I accidentally deleted my 1st graders first day of school picture from my camera!! Oh....the agony I felt when I did that!!! That same day he happened to be wearing the same outfit as the first day of school so as soon as he got home, I took another a picture to replicate it. Maybe someday I'll forget what I did and just think that was really his first day!! LOL
