Description: Isn't she adorable? This is my daughter shortly before she turned two years old. I always used to sing the Rubber Ducky song to her at bathtime.(Sesame Street/Ernie) I have included the first three lines to the song next to the photo, and the entire song is printed on the back of the LO. I was inspired by Nancola's 'The Littlest Witch' when I made this design. I stitched curly yellow yarn along the blue curve, and was excited to use one of the Making Memories Clear flowers I found at Big Lots....plus, they are self-adhesive. Since I did not have yellow striped paper, I inked yellow lines across the rosebud print. Along with the song lyrics, I wrote about my feelings and memories of 'toddler' bathtime on the back side of the LO: I do this on all my pages, jotting down more info, detail, my thoughts and feelings which could never be adequately placed on the front without getting in the way of the arrangement/design. TFL :-)
Soooooooooooooooo cute! Very original design. Love that effect of the yellow stripes on your paper and the yellow knots on the blue paper. They seem to make a raised "walkway" for those adorable ducks. Cute little song. I used to sing that to my son who just turned 16. He still has his "good luck rubber duckie" in his shower to watch out for him like a guardian angel. Sometimes I even hear him singing that song in the shower-what a goof ball (he also marches to his own beat ;)! and Yes she is adorable! Another one into my faves!
