Description: I've been wanting to do this layout for Desi's album for awhile. Her middle name (Louise) is after my grandmother, Desi's Great-great Grandmother, who went by the name Louse all her life! She was very honored to have a child named for her, and was alive when Desi was born...but, unfortunately, they never had the opportunity to meet.
I wrote a long letter to Desi on the back of this layout about her "Name Sake", hoping she will have an understnading of her ancestry.

It seems that my scanner picked up a lot of the brown on this page, and caused the paper along the bottom to look dark...no so, IRL!

Thanks so much for stopping by my gallery ;-)

This is such a sweet layout, and such a great tribute to her great-great grandmother! I'm sorry that they never got to meet, but I'm sure it meant the world to her. The layout is just beautiful! This gives me such a great idea for a layout, i named my son after my dad, is it ok if i use your idea and make a layout of my son and father??
