This pic was taken during the holidays last year around midnight when I was just cleaning up after a long day of Christmas baking. My oldest, Bryant, was just coming off an afternoon shift at work, and Ben and Matt were just enjoying a lazy day off, so we were indeed a motley looking crew, but it is a rare pic of me with my sons since I am usually on the other end of the camera, so I scrapped it for my mom.
I used BG figgy pudding pps and tried my hand at distressing edges with deco scissors on the cream paper and a flower shaped hole punch on the blue pp, then inked them w/my cat's eye stylus. I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but think it turned out ok. I cut the large flowers out after tracing them from a pattern, then wet the edges with a damp cloth, tore and used my punch and scissors to distress them as well. I then layered them with prima flowers. The swirl is from niclindesigns. The photo frame is a Hambly screen print and the rub ons are from BG and CC. The butterfly and heart stickers are by Craft n' craftin. I made the bird by first stamping, then embossing and finally cutting it out. I made the tag in my own sorry handwriting with a glue pen and then embossing. I added some itty bitty blossoms as a final touch.
