This is amazing, Patty....What a sweet, inviting walk down memory lane feeling. Love the pic...ladies all in their fancy hats! I'm a sucker for pearls...what a gorgeous touch and the roses are so soft and pretty. Love all the different edges and textures - the colors are so dreamy and nostalgic. Just beautiful

This page is truly amazing, I love the little fan and how the hand cut stems and pearls sweep down from the fan. Such a soft, romantic look for that really neat photo!
Oh my....this is fabulous! What a beautiful piece of art! I love everything you did here! The little fan is sheer genius! Love the antique lace, the pearls, the papers and of course that wonderful photo! Soooo nice!
This is just beautiful, Patti! Love all the little details you added- the lace, the pearls, the flowers! I really love that fan you made, too- I will definitely have to try that out! Beautiful heritage LO!
Well, now, this is a treasure of a photo if I ever saw one! You have honored your grandmother by showcasing her and her friends in a stunningly feminine page. I love the texture of the smooth pearls, rolled paper matting, folded and punched fan, shiny metal corner frame, and gathered lace!! Great job on the inking...it draws the eye toward the center of the LO. I also LOVE the stamped and hand cut branches...nice work on those. Wow, look at those hats they are wearing! The roses seem to have dropped off the brim onto your stunning page!!! xxxxxxxx
Patty, you are truly a gifted artist. This is another stunning creation! The vintage feel and authenticity truly make this a masterpiece. You do a remarkable job of paying homage to your heritage and your love for your family shines through here and in all that you create!
Wow - absolutely gorgeous!!! I enlarged this so I could get a more close up of all the wonderful details. The fan is perfect and I love the rolled up pp. Great photo!!! hugs - Ginger
wow this is so beautiful. i love this vintage layout! the calling card is so adorable. i have a few from an antique store ive been waiting to use, but to have one from your family would be so much better! the lace, the pearls, everything is perfect, especially for the photograph!
Used mostly Classic K, with the background paper being from the Que Sera collection. Inked, tore, rolled the paper around the photo. Border punched a small piece of paper, then accordian folded it to make a tiny fan. Added gold stickles to the scalloped edge. Tied it with a sheer ribbon. Used my paternal grandmother's antique lace and my maternal grandmother's antique (rose) scrap and calling card (lower right). Added the gold colored metal corner over the lace, cut the stamped vines and added the Prima "Say It With Pearls" flourish.
The photo is of my maternal GM (second from left, in dark pinafore) and four of her childhood friends. Unfortunately, I do not know their names. The photo was taken near Columbus, in central Texas.
