This fine lady was VERY special to me growing up. My second mom! She was my moms best friend, my best friends mom and the one I ran to when I was afraid to go to my own mom. I ran into her at Michaels the other day. Another great reason to LUV Michaels!!

How cool! I love everything about this layout, especially the way you describe the bond you had with your mom's best friend. This reminds me of a lady from my childhood neighborhood whose house I ran away from home to when I was six. I told my parents that I was going to "Spain" with 7 pairs of clean underwear and nothing else. My mom called her friend and said, "She's on her way to your house. She has no money and can't speak Spanish, but her panties are clean." Sure enough, that's where I and the clean panties went. Apparently, my motives and priorities were obvious in spite of how mysterious I thought I was being!
